Societas pro Fauna et Flora Fennica

Societas pro Fauna et Flora Fennica is the oldest scientific society in Finland, founded on 1 November, 1821. Its purpose is to increase the knowledge of Finnish plants and animals, and to promote zoological and botanical research as well as nature conservation.
